Minimum Admission Requirements

In accordance with the Utah State Office of Education’s ruling R277-502-3(5), the University of Utah’s Department of Special Education has established entry requirements designed to ensure that only well qualified individuals enter the program. As stipulated by the Utah State Office of Education’s ruling R277-502-3(5), the University of Utah’s Department of Special Education may waive the minimum GPA entrance requirements for no more than 10 percent of an entrance cohort based on guidelines established by the Department.
