First Steps

Apply to the University of Utah as a non-matriculated student, which is a student not seeking a degree.

Meet the minimum admissions requirements.

Students with a Bachelor's Degree are eligible to take classes in our endorsement/licensure-only programs.

Complete a USBE (CBI/FBI) fingerprint background check.

Put together your application packet.

Submit your application packet.

NOTE: International applicants must take the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS

Summer or Fall Deadline: March 1st

Fall Deadline: May 16th

Spring Deadline: October 1st

NOTE: If the deadline falls on a weekend or holiday applications will be accepted until the next business day.

Must include ALL of the following

Completed Application

Official transcripts from ALL colleges & universities attended

Three (3) letters of recommendation

Resume Two-Page Career Statement

Proof of cleared background check & fingerprint
